A basic study covering occupational safety standards and codes with emphasis on applications to typical industrial, construction and shop situations. Topics include: the role of OSHA and other regulatory agencies, fire protection, hazardous materials, personal protection, operational and construction safety, as well as the study of accident causation and prevention.
