Communication skills are essential in today’s workforce-helping you succeed and make an impact in any role. They serve four main purposes.

Impact others with your communication skills.

By obtaining these learning outcomes, the student will build the skills employers demand and position yourself for success in any field.

By obtaining the Liberal Arts Transfer Degree in Communication, the student may continue at a four-year college and pursue a bachelor’s degree in communication. This degree may lead to a career in:

Journalism
Broadcasting (Radio, Television, Internet)
Marketing & Advertising
Public Relations & Media
Digital Content Creator

Admission Requirements:

The applicants must be either a high school graduate or equivalent.

Award

Upon successful completion of the required courses, students will be awarded an Associate in Arts degree in Communication.
