Continued practice of college-level writing process and strategies, building on skills learned in English 110. This course refines critical reading, writing, thinking, and research skills. Students will practice summary and analysis of texts, as well as synthesizing information from primary and secondary sources. Writing assignments will emphasize logical argument, persuasion, and collaboration. Major assignments will require proper crediting of source material and research. Prerequisite: English 110.
