This course provides students with experience in calculating steel weights and measurements, including pipe and pipe fittings. Students will also gain a theoretical understanding of the plasma cutting process using computer-controlled (CNC) equipment. Additional topics include metallurgical principles as they pertain to welding and cutting. A student portfolio will be developed to document progress and learning. Prerequisite: WELD 152. Co-requisite: WELD 211. (F)
