Students will be introduced to various ADAS system components that rely on sensors, cameras and radars, to detect and sense the environment around the vehicle. When a vehicle is involved in an accident, or certain repairs or replacement of parts are made to the vehicle, the alignment or calibration of ADAS components may be affected. Students will be introduced to the various calibration processes of an ADAS system, which involves ensuring that cameras, sensors and other components are properly aligned and adjusted according to manufacturer specifications. The end goal of this course is to provide students with the information and skills necessary to perform accurate and safe ADAS calibrations. (Spring) Prerequisites: ABOD 200.
