Library Resources & Services

The Mildred Johnson Library offers a wide range of resources and services available both online and in-house. The Library offers a supportive environment with collaborative workstations, study rooms, cozy couches, and other amenities to serve students on their collegiate paths.

The Library lends books, DVDs, CDs, 3D models, and board games to current members of the NDSCS campus community. If an item of interest is not part of the Library's current collection, a request can be made to purchase the material. Additionally, interlibrary loan requests can be submitted to borrow materials from other libraries.

Computers, a printer, and a scanner are available for use by NDSCS students, faculty, and staff. Wireless access is available for those who bring their own laptops or other devices.

Access to thousands of eBooks and hundreds of thousands of articles from magazines, journals, and newspapers is provided through electronic resources found on the Library’s web pages. These resources are available to current students, faculty, and staff while on and off campus.

Faculty may request library orientation sessions to prepare students for library research specific to their curriculum and students can expect to attend an orientation session at some point during their academic careers. Faculty and staff members are also welcome to request NDSCS archive collection services to bring the history of the College to life.
