This course provides a study of drugs with an emphasis on those drugs utilized in the practice of dentistry. The course describes the physical properties, major therapeutic classifications of medications, their therapeutic uses, and effects and adverse reactions. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene program. (S)
