This is a practical one-credit course that provides the tools and skills necessary to get a strong start with the transition for new students at NDSCS who have entered the Manufacturing Department Programs. This course will introduce students to campus resources, policies and procedures and cover topics such as Blackboard, time management, study skills, goal setting, mental and physical wellness, financial literacy, tours of the campus and professional development. As well as introducing students to scholarship information, and club activities such as SkillsUSA, Weld Club, Precision Club, and AWS Club.
