Program Information:

Most cybersecurity work happens behind the scenes, protecting people and organizations who don't know they're under threat and before an attack occurs. Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting programs, computer networks and digital information from threats. Cybersecurlty might be a good career for you if you are a detail-oriented, analytical person with a collaborative mindset and the ability to improvise.

This certificate is a stack-able certificate and is taken after the successful completion of Cybersecurity Essentials, Cybersecurity Defense, and Cybersecurity Incident Response Certificates. These certificates provide an immediate basis for professionals employed in the high-tech industry to improve their ability to counter threats to information systems, thereby increasing their value to organizations that employ them, and ensuring computer systems under their care are protected. A peripheral objective is to provide an opportunity for new or recent graduates to acquire advanced skills in Cybersecurity.

Specifically, it will meet the following objectives: Foster a high-quality, student centered education.

- Provide a foundation for the development of Security.
- Provide our students with the ability to counter threats to information systems and provide appropriate "after incident" responses.

After successfully completing the Cybersecurity Penetration Testing certificate, students are prepared to take the CompTIA A+ Certification exam. The applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent.
