This course is the first semester of a two-semester sequence in general chemistry. General Chemistry I is focused on the fundamental concepts of chemistry, such as measurement, matter, molecules, ions chemical equations, ideal gases, atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, periodicity and molecular geometry.
