Students will receive training through both classroom and hands-on experiences to collect data for an energy audit. They will receive training on blower doors, CO detectors, manometers and pressure pans. They will also receive instruction on how to analyze the data to diagnose any safety issues, and energy related inefficiencies in a residential home. Upon successful completion of the course students will receive certificates from the Building Performance Institute (BPI) for Building Science Principles, Building Analyst Technician, and Building Analyst Professional.
